We do not guarantee website links or the policy of authorised third parties.

why do we collect it?


We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to you, and for marketing purposes. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.

By using our website, you consent to the receipt of direct marketing material. Emails and electronic forms:

Emails will be recorded to our website hosting provider (Squarespace) back-end if you send us a message online via our Contact page webform. Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your consent, with a copy emailed to our connected Microsoft Outlook business email account to allow response. 

When you contact us to make a general enquiry, complaint, or feedback via our website form or email, you must provide an email address to which the system can send you communications. You are free to use an anonymous email address. We will not use your email address to send you any unsolicited information unless you otherwise indicate that you would like to receive additional information from us. Our secure forms can be identified by the padlock symbol and an address starting with HTTPS://. The personal information you provide to Two Sisters Catering on our website is voluntary.

Squarespace

Two Sisters Catering uses the secure, website platform Squarespace for interaction via our website and to receive general enquiries, complaints, or feedback, via a web form or email.

Squarespace (and its affiliated services) is based in the United States of America (USA) and the information collected about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Squarespace on servers located outside Australia. Squarespace may collect personal information, such as IP addresses, preferences, web pages you visited prior to coming to our website, information about your browser, network, or device, information about how you interact with our website (timestamps, clicks, scrolling, browsing times, searches, referral pages, load times, and any problems you may encounter, such as loading errors.

Cookies:

Two Sisters Catering uses session ‘cookies’ to help analyse how users use the Website. To learn more about cookies, see our Cookies Policy. By using our website, you consent to the processing of data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out in the Policy.

By using our website, submitting web forms, communicating and interacting with our social media accounts, sending and responding to emails, and receiving ads:

  • you consent to your personal information being collected, used, disclosed, and stored as set out in the Squarespace Privacy Policy and agree to abide by the Terms of Use

  • you consent to your personal information being collected, used, disclosed, and stored as set out in the various Google Privacy Policies and agree to abide by the various Google Terms of Use, per platform

  • you understand and acknowledge that this service utilises Squarespace and Google platforms, which are located in the United States of America (USA) and relevant legislation of the USA will apply

  • you agree that Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 contained in Schedule 1 of the Privacy Act will not apply

  • you understand and acknowledge that Squarespace and Google are not subject to the Privacy Act and you will not be able to seek redress under the Privacy Act but will need to seek redress under the laws of the USA.

We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. If you decline cookies (via our opt-in/opt-out cookie pop-up notice), you will be unable to take advantage of some of the features of our website.

This information is used:

  • in a collective way not referable to any particular individual, for the purpose of quality control and improvement of our site

  • to send you news about the services for which you have signed up

  • to tell you about our other services.


Social media

We use social media platforms via Meta; Facebook, and Instagram to communicate with the public about our work. When you communicate with us using these services we may collect your personal information, but we only use it to help us to communicate with you and the public.

The social media platforms will also handle your personal information for their own purposes. These services have their own terms of service, privacy policies, cookie policies, and community standards/guidelines. You can access each of these for Meta, including Facebook and Instagram below.

Meta may collect personal information, such as your activity and information that you provide, friends, followers, and other connections, app browser and device information, and information from partners, vendors, and other third parties.

This information will be used exclusively for the purpose for which you have provided it. Information is disclosed to third parties only where the third party concerned qualifies in whatever way the website page requires.

Two Sisters Catering Pty Ltd will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
